Well now, 'Legend of the Swordsmen Episode 2' is coming along nicely.
The first 'Legend of the Swordsmen' Is already funny online. Though not on Deviantart I am afraid.
I Host both stories at two locations.
www.Fanfiction.net and on www.legendoftheswordsmen.org
Already I've gotten another piece of Fanart for the Series which is more of a spoiler to the second episode then anything else.
You can see those fanarts at the Swordsmenwiki.
On another side note, I've started playing Fiesta for a while now. On the same server that Dahdtoudi plays on.
There is a 9 hour time differance, so I dont see her in game much.
Funny thing is, in game our characters are married. It's not because of us loving one another though. just good friends, being married in Fiesta gives you certain bonus. like a 5% increase in your stats, and its all about the stats in the game anyways

I always wanted to try them out when I was little, but my mum never let me, saying I would get hurt <_< and now that I wouldn't have to ask... well...

I started doing Martial arts a few years ago when I turned 15, I'm turning 22 this year.
I so far have about one year worth of swordsmanship experience.
But the martial arts aren't meant to put the hurt out on people or take pain, its rather about defending yourself or to defend what you believe in. As my Sensei would say: "Conflict is best avoided, though there are some cases in which conflict cannot be avoided, but it never hurts to walk away."
There have only been a few cases in which I have used my skills, mainly subduing a aggressive person who was posing as a threat to my pregnant wife.
If anything, Martial arts is about finding an equilibrium within yourself. And there are multiple equilibrium's to be find. Physical, Emotial and Mentally.

I'd still love to, but, of course, it's not possible
You're doing swords now? What kind?

I own two swords:
Katana (39 Inch)
Wakizashi (29 Inch)
I know how to use them both too, and I am also able to use them as in a duel wielding style though it is a bit more tricky to pull off.
Take This link to see a photo of them both.
